UNITY PROJECTS
Unannounced Mobile Augmented Reality Project. Worked on prototyping for 15 weeks, and then led a team of 9 students through a 15 week development cycle.
A virtual pet using a Finite State Machine, AI Sight, and A* Path Finding.
Serious game project focused on advanced UI with Unity. Scrolling menu with different types of input fields. Programming that saves the user input to a separate file.
Action Horror game. Held the role of Lead Designer on a team with 3 designers outside of myself. Worked with the Project Lead to get what the design team needed to do for the project and broke it down into smaller task, and helped the designers get in engine and doing what needed to be done.
Unity 2D project. 2D platforming game with imported sprites and tile maps to build the level.
Unity platforming and maze project. Using the terrain tool to build platforming segments. Set design using assets from the Unity Asset Store.
UNREAL PROJECTS
Unreal Tournament death match level design. Advanced set design. Level flow and design built around the wall running and sliding mechanics of the game.
Game scripting project using Unreal Engines blueprints. Different puzzles, AI, Cutscenes, and basic game mechanics in Unreal.
Unreal Tournament death match level design. Set design that provides cover for players. Level design using Unreal's BSP and terrain tools.
48 hour game jam game. VR shooter with shatterable enemies.
C++ PROJECTS
The game pack includes Blackjack and War using standard playing cards. This project was made to show a thorough understanding of C++.
This program demonstrates the difference between the Bubble Sort and Selection Sort algorithms.
Hash algorithm using phone contacts as an example.
LEVEL DESIGN
Minecraft adventure map focused on storytelling through set design and gameplay.
Fight The Dragon campaign. Platforming, enemy waves, riddles and logic puzzles, and storytelling through set design and NPCs.
Guts and Glory level design. Racing obstacle course gameplay. Multiple paths based on different vehicles.
BOARD GAME DESIGN
Asymmetrical board game design. 4v1 game with different character classes and abilities.
Serious board game design. Card game designed to teach the players about cooking and motivate them to experimenting in the kitchen.
Intuitive design board game project. Symbols and simple gameplay mechanics to help convey rules to the player. Players were given the game without looking at the rules and had to guess how to play on their own.
